Dirty Joe is a modern Java 8 Bytecode Editor, it supports python plugins for easy string decryption and it uses a hexcode style form of editing instead of the literal opcodes.

How to use

Extract the archived Windows package and start Dirty Joe. Open a copy of a .class file, inspect its constant pool, methods and attributes, then save any changes to a separate copy. Check the bundled help for the package's editing commands and supported class-file versions.

This is a basic workflow for the archived GUI. The original online manual could not be retrieved; the author's source repository is still available.
