This page or section is unfinished. Cheat Engine is a free and open source memory scanner. It can view the disassembled memory of a process and make alterations. It also has some Direct3D manipulation tools.

How to use

Open Help > Cheat Engine Tutorial, then attach Cheat Engine to the tutorial process. Start with the exact-value exercise: scan for the displayed value, change it in the tutorial, and scan again to narrow the results. Continue through the included exercises to learn value types, pointers and debugging.
