Candle is a young yet promising modern Java 8 Decompiler, it's still currently heavily in development but it's coming along.

How to use

A dependable standalone release and official launch instructions could not be verified. If you have a source checkout or historical package, follow the README supplied with that exact version and try a small class file first. Do not assume it uses the same switches as CFR or other decompilers.

The tools page lists available Java decompilers with documented launch commands, including CFR, Procyon and Fernflower.
